Your gloves look great and the socks are adorable!
I don't know about you but I get the winter blahs. Here in the Northeast (US) the sky is just grey all the time and it really affects my mood/motivation. Winter is also hard with little ones too.

Yup, it's greyer than grey here and it's not even that cold right now... I simply hate how dark it is all day long. Living at ground level surrounded by 5 storey buildings doesn't help much, either.
I've spent a couple of winters in VT and remember Northeast winters being so nice and cold, with lots of snow and blue skies... mmmhh...

Those gloves are great!! I need to get back to knitting a bit of Fair-Isle.
I know how you feel, sometimes I'm so tired and lazy about posting. Many times I write and save the entry for a while to add to as I find time.
