Oh Alberta!
I've mentioned it before, I'm not only a stasher, but I'm also a cast-on addict!I cast on for these Regia Canadian Color 'Alberta' (4735) and it really brings back some road trip memories:
the light browns and greens of the prairies,
fireweed,
and the worst coffee you've ever had outside of Saskatchewan bought in roadside diners along the trans-canada highway.
Well, maybe the creators of this colorway were thinking about bison instead;-)Oh Canada, how I miss thee!

I'm right there with you as a cast-on addict. In fact, I just cast on another new sock right before I read your post! The Alberta socks are lovely. I've never been to Alberta, but spent a lot of time in Montreal, and I miss Canada, too.

apparently, i need to buy everything regia has ever made. i lovelovelove the color combination in those socks! i'm braving another pair of socks myself. hopefully, these will take a little less time to make. :)

love that sock yarn... knit it up finish it! you can do it! isn't the purpose of the SYAC to knit the socks? looking at everyone's stash is making me want more!

I LOVE the colors! And I think I have been in that same diner :-) One time I just got in a car and drove to Canada
(I was detained at the border for two hours but thats another story).

I love the colours of those socks. The whole series that they've done is so nicely different - I will have to get some of that yarn (after my 90 days are up of course!). They look fantastic!
